H Groome first opened its doors Memorial Day weekend, 2001. Located in a historical building in the heart of Southampton, New York, it has truly become a destination for those seeking sophisticated home accents and wares.

H Groome is the constantly evolving project of owner, Barbara Warner. Named for her maternal grandfather, the shop is a perfect reflection of Barbara's refined taste. With a keen eye for style that was honed in the fashion business and cultivated by travel, her sensibility combines strong design with a love of color and natural materials, as well as an appreciation of fine craftsmanship. In the shop, exquisitely detailed, traditionally handcrafted pillows contrast and complement the clean, simple lines of contemporary furniture. Gracious silver trays share space with a rustic, reclaimed teak table. Cotton and silk pillows from India fill wall cubbies along with Nepalese cashmere throws and vintage ikat textiles, while fragrances from the apothecary scent the air. This diverse, exclusive selection and unique juxtaposition of styles give our customers a fresh, modern approach to designing and customizing their lifestyles and homes.

H Groome Online is intended to be as comfortable, relaxing and accessible as the shop itself. The friendly, personalized, in-store service extends to our internet customers, as well. Whether an order is placed online or by calling our toll free number, it will be handled by a store salesperson who will contact you. You will always be able to communicate with your salesperson directly, either by email or phone.

This Spring, H Groome eagerly anticipates the expansion of both the Southampton store and
H Groome Online, with growing collections of furniture, art and the introduction of Bed and Bath departments. Summer brings the arrival of our new Kitchen merchandise.
